#7 - Fire

The first change as like a fir ripping through his skin, a heat burning inside his flesh and moving through it, bones shifting and muscles ripping. It hurt, badly. His body wasn't used to such an extreme change all of a suddenly, and with only part of the change happening at once it didn't heal s it changed, not fully.

So it burned, the feeling of muscles pulling to the point that they ripped, the feeling of bones in his body shifting while nothing else did, pushing, pulling, stretching to an inhuman size in a normal human sized body. He could feel parts of his frame protrude against thinly stretched skin, could feel the density of bones thicken as if he were becoming something much larger then he really was.

The next time he changed it was easier. His flesh was a bit more used to the movement, but it still burned, like someone else a fire to every ounce of blood he had inside. The blackened bruises left behind for the first hour appearing to be the result of that fire.

Every night it got easier, but the fire as always there, even for the first few moments.
