there is a lot going on there even i dont know all the answers and that bothers me i cant tell you is its true or not that that person is sorry or not. i never got the chance to find out more on it. SHIELD is responsible for deaths, yes. I wish it hadnt come to it in the end but SHIELD didn't pull the trigger in the end, her partner did.

they were trying to kill us. we were trying to rescue one of our own. she paid the price for it by friendly fire
[There's...a lot there that unsettles him. He's not sure what he thinks about this, how he feels about it. On the one hand, he'd had a lot of time to think on the concept of closure, Hydra did terrible things to people, but on the other, no one deserved to be hurt or caught in the middle of things.
What would have happened to him, if he hadn't been brought here when he did? If he'd gone through with everything else he was told had happened. How would he have turned out on his own? What if he hadn't had the proper influences here? Would he have turned out like Kara?]

youre sympathetic to those who have been brain washed Ward has suffered a type of conditioning as well. not the same. not as forced, but trained from a young age. i want to believe that everything hes doing in this place is for the good of people like you or skye or fitz.
ask him sometime. about his past. about garret. or why he named his dog buddy. he might talk more about his past at that point. grant is... one of my mistakes. i should have seen signs or something but he's a good actor. he blends in. either im letting him fool me again or he means it now. he wants to help.
im trying to do better with him. i just dont want to see anyone get hurt. not anymore.
and james. i know you have no reason to trust what i say, but I also know you've had one hell of a bad life. if you ask me for something it'll be the truth as far as i know it. and if i can't talk about it? ill say so.
